Description |
Originally a Coaching Inn, dating back over 250 years, the hotel has evolved over the centuries to become an exceptionally stylish place to stay, now appealing to today's ever more sophisticated guests.
Divinely elegant with pale walls, adorned by classical architectural drawings, some over 250 years old, and soft intimate lighting, this is a supreme country house restaurant, one of England's elite, offering the finest dining for miles around. Designer silverware, fine crystal glasses and stylish white china set the scene for the mouthwatering, imaginative, meticulously prepared food.
Seasonal game and fish, all from the Bolton Abbey Estate, together with vegetables and herbs from the hotel's kitchen gardens, are the hallmarks of the Burlington's splendid menu.

Devonshire Arms is the most luxuriously invigorating location in the
heart of the Yorkshire Dales; there’s therapy in just being here. Then
