Danesfield House Hotel and Spa is delighted to have Adam Simmonds as Head Chef  within Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House, our fine dining restaurant. Adam joined Danesfield House Hotel and Spa in early February 2007 following three years at Ynyshir Hall in Wales, where he earned a Michelin Star , received an 8/10 rating in the Good Food Guide 2007 - one of only 11 restaurants to achieve this, gained 4 AA Rosettes and the accolade Best Restaurant in Wales 2006.

Prior to his time at Ynyshire Hall, Adam spent one and a half years at The Greenway as Head Chef and before that, three years at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, where he gained strong experience across a number of kitchen disciplines at the multi Michelin-starred restaurant. Adam's earlier years were spent building up experience in Michelin-starred establishments Heathcote's, Jean-Christophe Novelli , L'Escargot and Les Saveurs under Marco Pierre White.

Adam's appointment at Danesfield House demonstrates the Hotel's on-going commitment to provide an award-winning level of cuisine and service in its fine dining restaurant, which has most recently been placed 19th Top Restaurant in the UK by The Good Food Guide and holds four red rosettes from the AA for culinary excellence.
